The Pasir Gudang area consist of the Pasir Gudang Port and the Pasir Gudang Industrial Estate. It is 3764 acres in size and it houses 3000 over factories, many of them using the next door port to export their goods to the world.

Tanjung Langsat Port was designed to be a premier speciality terminal catering to handle bulk cargo such as liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), biofuels and dangerous chemicals. It has a size of 4198 acres and a deep water port frontage to handle large vessels.

The Johor Racing Circuit has been upgraded to FIM Status and since then, it had successfully organised the 1998 World Motocycle Grand Prix. Local races are often being organised here and it is also open for public to practise their driving skills at the circuit.
